Swing to Victory 1940s Dance
Yes – It’s that Man again!
Let’s Go To The Dance so SAVE THE DATE…
Major Swing & Kitty are once again in charge of entertainments!
Yes, It’s back again the Swing to Victory Dance with Major Swing and Kitty back in charge.
Our Wartime themed dance night, on the eve of the ever popular Harrogate Valley Gardens 1940s family day.
If this is your first time to a Swing to Victory Dance prepare for a full night of great music and dancing.
So what will Major Swing be wearing to this year’s dance?
Will his Benny Goodman casuals or perhaps we’ll see the infamous Max Miller suit
(I did wonder where those curtains went!)
We’ve moved this year’s venue to a more town central location, handy for all the hotels and bars too.
St Wilfred’s Hall was built in the 1930s, so we are in splendid period surroundings,
the hall features a most unusual, but very stylish ‘Lamella’ roof – a real feature of the period.
The hall is a hidden gem on Harrogate’s Duchy of Lancaster Estate – you won’t be disappointed.
Plenty of Free parking outside and a reasonable priced bar is on hand,
(Note. you are most welcome to bring your own snacks, as no food is available at the venue).
